St. Catherine of Sienna R. C. Cemetery was established in this location in 1868, when the Roman Catholic Church moved from its old to its current location. Some of the first burials at the cemetery would have been reinterments from the old cemetery. There is a sign in the cemetery that claims it was established in 1828, though no known records indicate a cemetery in the township that early.
