St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Cemetery was originally built in 1854, though the land was not purchased until 1859.  The cemetery was built for the Irish Catholic community and the St. Brigid's Catholic Church.  In 1910, the North section of the cemetery was added, with the first burial occurring in 1912.  This section was formerly a hotel owned by the Dolan family that burned down in the 1890s.  The old and new sections of the cemetery are divided by a large wooden cross.
