2 acres of land were donated by Robert Marlin for a church and cemetery in 1852 on the Osgoode Township (north) side of what is now Belmeade Road. The cemetery property is located at the corner of Belmeade Road and Stagecoach Roads. A log church for local Presbyterians was then built, known as Marlin ‘White’ Church and later as Reid's Mills Presbyterian Church. This church was closed in July 1902. A new brick church was erected in 1901, across the road, in Mountain Township. This Reid's Mills, also known as Osgoode Line, Church was closed in 1969. It is currently a private home.
